AVIXA launches AVIXA Xchange, the Pro AV community platform

AVIXA, the Fairfax, Virginia-based trade association representing the AV industry, has officially launched AVIXA Xchange to the entire professional AV industry. AVIXA Xchange is a community for the AV industry designed to connect thought leaders, industry-leading solution providers and innovative manufacturers with AV solution seekers. The platform is where expertise and experience are shared, knowledge and connections are gained, news and education are readily available, and communities from all industry segments interact.

“At AVIXA, we wanted to take the networking, learning, business, and camaraderie that happens at a trade show like InfoComm or ISE and translate it into a digital community that people have access to year-round,” says David Labuskes, CTS, CAE, RCDD, CEO of AVIXA. “AVIXA Xchange is where AV professionals can continue to learn and connect to improve their businesses and careers.”

AVIXA Xchange content is solution-oriented, which is the common language between AV buyers and providers. The solutions highlighted in AVIXA Xchange are the fastest growing and most critical in the AV industry, based on extensive research by AVIXA’s market intelligence team.

Current content channels include conferencing and collaboration, content, production and streaming, digital signage, learning solutions, live events/halls, and audiovisual activity. As solutions evolve, so do channels. Videos, articles, case studies and other pieces of content are generated by members of AVIXA Xchange. People can add comments, like and share the content.

AVIXA Xchange includes an online AV vendor directory with in-depth discovery features that match AV buyers with vendors that can meet their needs. AV buyers can also view content from solution providers about the projects they have completed and the solutions they offer and start a conversation on AVIXA Xchange.

AV vendors can use the platform to help influence the buyer’s journey from start to finish. They can bring their knowledge to trending discussions, promote their expertise to a large and diverse audience, and create actionable sales leads through content and interaction.
