The city is looking for new volunteer candidates to serve on various boards, committees and commissions.

Some of the municipal standing committees that need volunteers include the Development and Heritage Committee, the Adjustment Committee, the Property Standards Committee, the Roseland Golf and Curling Club Board of Directors, the Windsor Accessibility and the Windsor Licensing Commission.

Nominations are also being accepted for board members of Windsor-Detroit Tunnel Corporation, Windsor-Essex Community Housing Corporation, Windsor Police Services Board, Windsor Public Library Board, Windsor Public Utilities Commission and YQG Airport Council.

Applications are accepted until Friday 18 November. Those selected will be asked to serve a four-year term.
