It is expected that the new version of the Forum, which will be held in attendance this year and for the first time since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic, will be the most important since its launch, and will bring together several Heads of State and Government, politicians, parliamentarians, thinkers and representatives of the media, which makes this forum a real opportunity for frank dialogue between different sectors. to come up with viable solutions.

Commenting on the event, the Executive Director of the Doha Forum, HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater said that the Doha Forum returns once again in its 20th edition. She underlined that the world has seen great changes since the last meeting in 2019, which highlights, more than ever, the need to meet and take advantage of this platform to discuss the most important issues encountered during the transition to a new era.

The discussions and sessions of the Forum will focus on the main theme of this year, which is the transformation towards a new era, with a focus on four main areas: geopolitical alliances and international relations, the financial system and economic development, the defence, cybersecurity, food security, in addition to sustainability and climate change.

The Doha Forum, launched by Father Amir His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani in 2000, is a global platform in the field of contemporary international affairs and the world’s largest platform for diplomacy, dialogue and the diversity.
