The three Jefferson County commissioners will lead a workshop on a proposed temporary housing ordinance at 1:30 p.m. Monday in a meeting that begins at 9 a.m. this morning.

A public hearing on the draft order is set for 10:45 a.m. on Monday, June 13.

Commissioners will hear an update on COVID-19 from Dr. Allison Berry at 9:45 a.m., conduct a public hearing on the application for a community development block grant for the renovation of Trinity United Methodist Church, hear an announcement from Jamie Maciejewski and Siobhan Canty regarding the Port Hadlock affordable housing project and continuing discussions regarding the sale of Beaver Valley Sorts timber.

Items on the consent agenda include a resolution to use general funds to temporarily cover expenses associated with the Caswell-Brown Village project, an agreement with Cascade Community Connection for $26,585 to provide employment services from group and several agreements with the state military department to provide $136,608 for disaster relief education and emergency awareness and preparedness.

Clallam County Commission

The three Clallam County commissioners will invite bids for the McDonald Creek Irrigation and Fish Passage Improvement Project at their weekly business meeting at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

The working session of the commissioners, at 9 a.m. on Monday, will preview the items set for action at their meeting on Tuesday.

• Apply for hotel leasing and rapid relocation funds from the Department of Commerce up to $300,000.

The Washington State Counties Association will hear a weekly update on COVID-19 at its noon meeting Monday.

Clallam and Jefferson counties will participate.
